A yearly membership gets you access to the full collection, plus events and discussions at a discounted rate.
What it costs
How to join
Submit a valid ID proof and complete the registration process. A refundable security deposit is collected at signup.
Borrowing, once you’re a member
Book selection
Members may browse and select books directly from the library collection, or through shared catalogues and WhatsApp updates.
Issue period
Books are issued for a fixed reading period. Issue and return dates will be clearly communicated at the time of lending.
Return or renewal
Books must be returned on or before the due date. Renewals are allowed subject to availability.
Book care
Members are requested to handle books with care. Lost or damaged books must be replaced or compensated as per library policy.

Renewal policy
- One renewal allowed per book
- Request it before the due date
- Subject to book availability
Late return policy
₹20 per day, per book. Extended delays may result in a temporary suspension of lending privileges.
Damage & loss policy
- Minor wear is assessed case-by-case
- Major damage or loss requires replacement or cost recovery
- Your security deposit may be adjusted accordingly
Good reading practices
- Please do not write, underline, or fold pages
- Keep books away from food and water
- Use bookmarks instead of folding pages
- Return books in the same condition as issued
